04-Cluster Diagram Tool

The purpose of the cluster diagram is to create an image on a sheet of paper which will serve as a blueprint for your writing project.

Start by drawing a circle in the center of a blank sheet of paper. Add the text which will describe the main image or thought.

In this example, the "Light at the end of the tunnel is the main idea. After you have the main idea draw child and sibling circles and notes as you allow your mind to free flow on to the Cluster Diagram.

 When you are done with the Cluster Diagram look for the paths for your story.

 You can create as many sub-cluster diagrams if necessary to dig down deeper into what you want to write about.
